Rolling Audio Services was founded in January 2011 by Julie Bartley, a qualified and experienced sound engineer and music producer. Julie is a member of the Association of Professional Recording Services (APRS).

Rolling Audio provides mobile audio services for individuals, businesses and the voluntary sector in the North East of England. We work primarily in Northumberland and also travel to other areas. Some of our services can be delivered online.

We offer a comprehensive and flexible range of audio services. We work on all types of multi-media productions involving music and sound. We are experienced in managing projects of all sizes and offer support as needed.

Since start up, we have worked in close association with Core Music and support their aim of ‘accessible music for all’. Together, we offer affordable recording and fun recording parties. We have collaborated on funded song production workshops for socially excluded groups.

Rolling Audio has provided recording services for Vocal Ovation since 2011, recording over 100 vocal students and producing hundreds of personalised CDs.

We understand the creative and practical processes involved and offer a service that is unique to each client. We inform you of the technical possibilities and encourage you to participate in the creative decisions. We want to facilitate the realisation of your audio project and we want it to sound better than you imagined.

• Macbook Pro running Logic Pro and a selection of software plugins and instruments – from Sonnox, FXpansion, Celemony, Izotope, Sonalksis, Focusrite, Arturia, Garritan, Line 6 and Waves
• Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 Interface
• Focusrite Octopre MkII x2
• Mics – DPA, Audio Technica, SE Electronics, Rodes, Sennheiser, Shure. These include miniature mics and stereo pairs. Access to hire mics if required
• LaCie external drives
• KRK monitors, Beyer Dynamic and AKG headphones
• Roxdon Vocal Booth, a cathedral stand and other specialist gear to enable professional recordings in a wide variety of locations
