1. What This Is All About

Hey there! Thanks for considering Rolling Audio. Here’s the lowdown on how we roll:

  1. When we say "Agreement," we mean this document, along with any Booking Forms, Gift Vouchers, or other agreements.

  2. "You" or "Client" means the awesome person or group using our studio.

  3. "Studio" is Rolling Audio—our gear, our space, our team.

  4. "Services" are what we do: recording, mixing, mastering, music production, studio experiences, and more.

  5. "Deliverables" are the magic we create together, like recordings, mixes, and masters.

  6. Got a "Voucher"? It’s your ticket to a fantastic studio experience.

2. Booking and Vouchers Made Simple

2.1 Booking Your Session

  • A 10% deposit secures your spot—this shows us you’re serious! The rest is due at the end of the session.

  • Bookings aren’t official until we get your deposit and signed Booking Form.

  • Need more time? Extra hours are £30 each, as long as we’re available.

2.2 Vouchers: Buying and Using

  • You can buy Vouchers on our website or in the studio.

  • Use them within a year (unless we’ve agreed otherwise).

  • When booking, let us know your Voucher code so we can reserve your session.

2.3 Changing Plans

  • General bookings:

    • Give us at least 72 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule.

    • Need to cancel? Let us know in writing.

  • Vouchers:

    • For changes, tell us 7 days in advance, or you might lose the Voucher.

    • If we have to reschedule, we’ll let you know ASAP.

  • Bought a Voucher online? You’ve got 14 days to change your mind (unless we’ve already started).

3. Working Together

3.1 Recording, Mixing, and Mastering

  • Bring your gear and files—unless we’ve agreed to sort it for you.

  • When payment is done, we’ll hand over your tracks.

  • Mixing Packages:

    • Silver: 24 stems, 2 revisions.

    • Gold: 48 stems, 3 revisions.

    • Platinum: 64 stems, 4 revisions, includes a half-day accompanied session.

    • Mastering: 2 revisions included.

  • Extra revisions? No problem—it’s £30 each.

3.2 Music Production

  • Let’s get clear on your project and schedule before we start.

  • If we help write or create, royalties might apply (see below).

3.3 Studio Experiences (Vouchers)

  • Vouchers can’t be refunded (unless the law says otherwise).

  • Your session details (like hours, engineer help) are in your Voucher info.

  • Extra time or services? Let us know beforehand—there may be an extra charge.

  • Got backing tracks? Send them to us at least 7 days ahead and show proof you’re allowed to use them.

  • Karaoke tracks we provide are for personal enjoyment only. They can’t be used commercially, posted online, or shared without proper permission and licensing.

  • Vouchers can’t be swapped for cash but can be gifted to someone else—just let us know.

4. Be Cool in the Studio

  • Respect our team and equipment—we’ll do the same for you.

  • No smoking, alcohol, or illegal stuff allowed.

  • If something gets damaged, we’ll need to charge for repairs.

5. Sharing the Spotlight

5.1 Giving Credit

Please give us a shout-out! Here’s how:

  • Recorded at [location] by [Julie Bartley].

  • Mixed by Julie Bartley/Cupola Studios.

  • Mastered by Julie Bartley/Cupola Studios.

  • Produced by Julie Bartley/Cupola Studios.

5.2 Royalties

If we help with creative input, royalties of 2–5% might apply. We’ll chat about this beforehand.

6. Your Info Is Safe

We follow UK GDPR rules, so your data (like booking details) is safe with us. Check our Privacy Policy for the nitty-gritty.

7. What Happens If Things Go Wrong

  • We’re not liable for lost or damaged gear unless it’s our fault.

  • Make sure your stuff is insured—just in case.

  • If something beyond our control (like a power cut) interrupts your session, we’ll reschedule or refund as needed.

8. Unexpected Events

Sometimes life happens. If a natural disaster or similar issue stops us, we’ll work with you to reschedule or refund.

9. Sorting Out Problems

  • These Terms follow the laws of England and Wales.

  • Before going to court, let’s try to work it out. Alternative dispute resolution is an option.
